He always turned up on time and was unfailingly polite and friendly. As often happens, a number of snags cropped up during the work, but Tim’s motto seemed to be “there’s a way around this” and there always was. Considering the nature of the work, Tim managed to keep the area clean and never seemed to forget that his work site was our home. Tim’s a lovely bloke and a really good builder - he arrives early, comes every day and genuinely cares about doing a good job for you. He gave us a detailed quote and he stuck to his budget so no horrible surprises along the way. But realised a mutual friend had used him on several occasions. Tim and Chris completed a fantastic 1 story extension on our house. There was minimum fuss with the plans (even though we changed brief halfway through). Tim's and Chris were very experianced friendly guys. They were also very polite and courtious to our neighbours. He arrived early every day and and cracked on with the building. There were several very minor hitches along the way. However he took them all within his stride. Even coming round to our house on Saturday afternoon to fix something. The quality of his work is excellent and the other tradesman he worked with were largely excellent. He listened to exactly what I wanted and explained clearly what decisions I needed to make as we went along (v useful as I had no idea about building). He and his team have always been punctual, and kept the site clean and safe. There have been no changes to the price quoted.
